Web 2.0 User Experience #1: www.zynga.com Cafe game 3:00-4:00
1. Log onto Zynga's Cafe social game. If you do not have a Face book account, create one and add the members of your group to your Face book friends.
2. Send a free Face book gift to the other members of your group. Receive their response. Discuss your reaction to being able to send a free gift, see the photos and profiles of your friends and to "interact", receive a message or return gift from them.
3. Take 15 minutes and play the Cafe game. Was it easy to learn? What did you like or not like about the game?
4. Compare your experience to a more action-oriented online multi-player game if you have experience with those. If not, compare your experience to a board game like Scrabble or Monopoly or Mahjong.
5. Would you play it again?

1. Log onto Foursquare and download to your smartphone. If you do not have a Twitter account, create one. Send a Twitter comment to the members of your group about Foursquare and the class exercise.
2. Create or find 3 nearby campus locations for you and your classmates to check into. Were there any badges, specials or mayors nearby? Be creative about your locations-how about ATM machines, favorite taxi stops, elevators in buildings to take shortcuts to lower campus ...
3. If you have time walk over and check-in. Otherwise, can you check in online?
4. Leave a tip or comment at your location.
